Job Overview
The Mineral Operations Manager is responsible for leading the crew and effectively coordinating activities to ensure production meets plan and schedule.

* Coordinating work with other departments
The role involves conducting daily inspections of work areas, supporting problem-solving activities, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
You will be responsible for managing contractors, monitoring work scheduling, and overseeing plant activities.
A key focus will be ensuring that operators perform all required tasks on time, addressing concerns as they arise, and verifying that each team member has the necessary technical knowledge and competency for their assigned area.
You will also be responsible for organising people and processes to meet maintenance targets, tracking performance against these targets, and providing regular feedback.
About You
* 5+ years proven experience preferably within the mining industry, Salt or Potash experience is highly desirable
* Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
* Strong communication (written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills
* Well-developed conceptual, analytical, and planning skills with high levels of attention to detail
* Well-developed negotiation and problem-solving skills
* Strong focus on continuous improvement
* First Aid HLTAID003 or other NRT (mandatory)
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook & Share Point)
* Knowledge of safety and environment management systems
