Proudly teach students how to connect electrical circuits, install wiring systems and solve problems related to electrical equipment. Lead students through a range of practical experience in the installation and termination of electrical cables, accessories and appliances including socket outlets, light fittings, heating and cooking appliances.Essential Requirements:Have appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum level of Certificate III in Electrotechnology/Electrician or equivalent.Hold appropriate Electrical Licence issued by NSW Fair Trading (Endorsed Contractor Licence or Qualified Supervisors Certificate).Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training (see the candidate support document (here) for details ) OR a willingness to undertake our full time 14 week 'Paid to Learn' courseHave a minimum of five (5) years post qualification experience relevant to your industryHighly regarded but not essential: Extra qualifications in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Industrial Electronics, Electrical Engineering, and Grid connected PV, Battery & Standalone Power Systems.Paid to Learn: for candidates who do not hold an appropriate VET teaching qualification or equivalent, you have the option to be paid to learn as you transition from industry to teaching with guaranteed work following successful completion of the 14 weeks Training and Assessment course.
