We're Hiring – Fire Safety Engineers for our Brisbane office.
Innova Services Australia is expanding! We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented Fire Safety Engineers to join our Brisbane team. With multiple positions available, we welcome applications from both experienced professionals and emerging engineers beginning their careers in the fire safety field.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Directors, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality fire safety engineering services across a wide variety of building projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working with QLD and NSW based projects.
- Preparing performance-based fire safety design documentation, including:
- Performance solutions
- Fire safety declarations and certificates
- Site inspections during and after construction phases
- Conducting fire safety consultancy across diverse sectors
- Reviewing architectural and services documentation for BCA and regulatory compliance
- Developing innovative, practical engineering solutions to complex fire safety challenges
- Engaging with clients, design teams, and approval authorities to support design outcomes
- Performing fire engineering analysis including smoke, egress, and evacuation modelling
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for professionals who are proactive, collaborative, and passionate about fire engineering. Ideal candidates will have:
- A degree (or near completion) in Fire Safety, Mechanical, Structural, or related engineering discipline
- An interest or experience in Fire Safety Engineering
- Robust knowledge (or developing knowledge) of the NCC/BCA, Australian Standards, and local fire safety legislation
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Familiarity with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools is desirable
