The Clinical Modeller Information Architect position is responsible for the design and development of clinical information products and services that drive national health data interoperability improvements and other strategic priorities. The position also provides technical expertise and mentoring to team members and other stakeholders.Key duties and responsibilities Leadership and AccountabilityProvide expertise and technical knowledge in specialist area across a range of programs or activities for the agency.Provide accurate and specialised advice including anticipating problems and contributing to issues management.Contribute to the development of team objectives for short term tasks and strategic planning for longer-term initiatives.Propose and facilitate innovation initiatives and contribute to business improvement strategies and to change in workplace practices.Management Diversity and SpanEnsure quality outputs for a team including the development of specialist, professional and/or technical expertise. Conduct regular quality assurance of work area processes and manage identified risks.Assist in strategic planning, program and project management and/or policy development for the work area.Implement work plans for the work area including setting tasks and priorities, managing work flow and allocating resources.Have significant responsibility for the supervision and development of lower classification levels; build team capacity through coaching, performance feedback; and encouraging career development.Job Context and EnvironmentDeliver clinical information products and services to meet stakeholder requirements by conceptual modelling, information modelling, and implementation modelling.Have an in-depth knowledge of the role and functions of the agency and an understanding of how these relate to a work area.Monitor changes in the broader work environment that may impact on work objectives.Stakeholder ManagementEngage with national and international standards bodies, jurisdictions, and industry, via a collaborative, open and transparent process to develop and improve interoperable implementable health record data models for Australia.Anticipate and respond to stakeholder needs and expectations.Maintain internal and external networks.Represent the agency by promoting its interests at community and cross-agency levels.Qualifications:Clinical informatics or information technology degree, or equivalent demonstrable industry experience.Familiarity and demonstrated experience with HL7 FHIR, and associated tooling.2-3 years information modelling experience .Sound understanding of relevant legislation, international and Australian standards, and HL7 standards.Knowledge and experience with information modelling, including modelling products, methodologies and tools, with the ability to apply these to modelling of digital health information.Health and government industry experience.How to Apply: To submit your application, please click Apply or email your CV to Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type ContractJob function Information TechnologyIndustries Technology, Information and Internet#J-18808-Ljbffr
