The role
Our depot located in Townsville; Queensland is seeking a Warehouse Storeperson to join our team. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who has a can-do attitude to contribute to our Warehouse and Transport operations.
Duties
* Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work as instructed to receive and process incoming and outgoing freight.
* This includes operating a forklift, picking orders, packing, and preparing items for dispatch, along with conducting quality checks.
* You will also be responsible for unloading containers.
* Additionally, assist with inventory checks to ensure proper stock rotation.
* It is essential to comply with all quality assurance procedures and company guidelines.
About you
* A valid LF License is mandatory, and while experience with high-reach forklifts is strongly preferred, it is not a requirement.
* An appreciation of the importance and care of handling sensitive and high-value items is essential.
* Familiarity with general freight, including machinery, is also beneficial.
* Candidates must be dependable and punctual, demonstrating a strong work ethic.
* A positive attitude and the ability to adapt flexibly to changes in a fast-paced work environment are crucial.
* Your integrity and meticulous attention to detail in verifying dispatch and receipt paperwork, as well as adhering to our systems and processes, are of utmost importance to us.
