About the Role
We're looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to support our Business Development Team based in Launceston. This role suits a professional, proactive, and detail-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work autonomously while managing multiple priorities. You'll play a key role in coordinating tender documentation, maintaining project records, and providing essential administrative support that contributes to the success of both the Business Development function and the broader business.
Working closely with the Business Development Manager, you will act as the central administrative contact for project stakeholders, ensuring all documentation and submissions are accurate, timely, and compliant with Shaw's standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and tender documentation.
Coordinate review meetings and maintain tender registers, templates, and capability documents.
Maintain accurate electronic filing and document control systems.
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.
Provide general administrative assistance to the Business Development Manager and team.
About You
You're an organised and motivated administrator with robust attention to detail and a passion for supporting tender and project delivery. To be successful, you'll demonstrate:
5+ years' administrative experience, ideally within civil construction, infrastructure, or professional services.
Strong organisational and document control skills with a high standard of accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
A commitment to teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement.
