Key to the success of a mine's operations is a team member who can accurately interpret spatial data and integrate it into the planning process.
The Underground Mine Surveyor will be responsible for conducting all mine survey activities, including:
* Conducting surveys of underground openings and maintaining the underground void model
* Measuring total volume of material moved
* Measuring underground excavations
* Installing lines and grades in development headings and stopes
* Pegging out areas to be mined
* Surveying mine configuration; locating blast and exploration drill holes
* Maintaining up-to-date data entry records
* Providing relevant survey data to production/management personnel
* Producing plans as required, including development memos and statutory mine plans
This role requires strong survey experience in an underground mine environment, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Surpac mining software, MPX mining software, GPS tools, and other relevant applications.
