Clinical Bioinformatician is a pivotal position within our organization, working under the Scientist Public Health and Epidemiology department.
This role involves analyzing complex data, operating under pressure, and meeting deadlines with exceptional attention to detail and capacity to work independently.
Main Responsibilities:
* Analyzing genomic data using bioinformatics techniques
* Developing software applications for genomic analysis
* Collaborating with the pathology team to enhance healthcare services
Necessary Qualifications:
* Demonstrated experience in bioinformatics, computer coding, software development, and pipeline creation
* Solid understanding of genome analysis techniques, next-generation sequencing platforms, human genome biology, and pathology or healthcare environment
* Ability to operate independently with minimal direction while adhering to WHS and risk-management principles
