Shift Supervisor Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent role on the afternoon shift, where you will have the opportunity to make a difference and grow within your role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a diverse and experienced production team to meet shift targets and uphold safety and quality standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly to ensure production demands are met.
* Ensure site compliance with FSSC and HACCAP standards.
* Manage day-to-day performance, attendance, and training of your team.
* Work with union representatives to address employee concerns constructively and promptly.
* Oversee onsite WHS and drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, and compliance.
About You:
* Leadership experience within a high-speed manufacturing environment, including capability in managing performance issues.
* Experience rostering, allocating labour, dealing with agency temps, leave approval, and skills assessment.
* Familiarity with shift operations and dynamics in managing a team.
* Solid understanding of GMP, HACCAP, or FSSC environments and audit requirements.
* Proficiency in problem-solving manufacturing issues, ideally within an FMCG environment.
* Safety-first mindset, with awareness of safety compliance and requirements.
