How You Can Make A Difference
The Finance Analyst role supports financial management activities, including planning, forecasting, reporting, data analysis, and financial modelling.
As part of the Finance Business Partnering team, the role ensures effective financial services for various stakeholders, covering all funding sources.
* Financial Management: Assist with month-end processes, planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
* Modelling & Analysis: Perform financial modelling, scenario analysis, and variance investigations to support informed decision-making.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Develop financial plans, report performance, and monitor expenditure with key stakeholders.
* Compliance & Support: Ensure data integrity, align budgets with policies, and address risks or compliance issues effectively.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Analyst with:
* Qualifications and Expertise: A relevant tertiary qualification, professional certification (e.g. CA or CPA), and significant sector experience.
* Financial Acumen: Proven experience in financial management, control processes, analysis, and delivering accurate advice and services.
* Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management abilities to engage and negotiate effectively with diverse audiences.
* Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial modelling and analysis, along with experience using enterprise systems, analytical tools, and preparing reports and presentations.
* Organisational Excellence: Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure while delivering outstanding customer service.
