About Us
Brady Bunch Early Learning Centre – Hertford Park is a brand-new, purpose-built service located in Sebastopol, Ballarat. Our beautiful centre is licensed for 108 children per day and caters for children aged six weeks to six years across six thoughtfully designed learning studios. At Brady Bunch ELC, we are committed to providing high-quality education and care within a warm, welcoming, and community-oriented environment.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and passionate Centre Director to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of the service. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic leader who is ready to take on a new challenge and make a lasting impact on the lives of children, families, and educators.
The successful applicant will be supported by an experienced senior management team and will lead with integrity, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the operational, financial, and educational performance of the centre.
Drive occupancy, manage budgets, rosters, fee collection, and centre administration.
Foster strong and collaborative relationships with children, families, team members, and the local community.
Maintain and regularly review the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
Ensure compliance with all National Quality Framework (NQF),The Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), and relevant legislative requirements.
Inspire and mentor a team of educators to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
Promote a culture of reflection, open communication, and continuous improvement.
Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved).
Proven leadership experience in a similar Centre Director or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of the VEYLDF, National Regulations, and National Quality Standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A genuine passion for early childhood education and leading professional teams.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with families and the wider community.
Sound understanding of policy implementation, compliance, and service quality.
Current Working with Children Check.
First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, and Child Protection certifications.
Red Nose (SIDS) Training.
Previous experience managing a medium-to-large Early Childhood service.
Familiarity with Qikkids software is advantageous.
High levels of emotional intelligence and reflective practice.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
