Key responsibilities:
* Develop and implement the Courts and Tribunals ICT Roadmap, ensuring digital services meet CAT expectations and align with whole-of-government policies, strategies and direction.
* Provide strategic leadership that fosters a shared understanding of organisational priorities and promotes a strong culture of customer service and continuous improvement.
* Embed contemporary delivery practices such as agile, product-based work, human-centred design and data-informed decision making across digital initiatives.
* Deliver high-quality, evidence-based advice to executive leadership to influence business effectiveness and support the efficient and effective management, delivery and optimisation of ICT systems and digital solutions.
* Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with the judiciary, departmental officers, the legal profession, and other key internal and external stakeholders to support coordinated, consistent and high-quality delivery of digital, information and court technology services
* Strategically plan and manage resources, including financial, human and ICT assets, to deliver agreed projects and initiatives on time, within budget and with a focus on efficiency, innovation and value for money.
* Represent digital and ICT interests within CAT and the department across relevant cross-agency and whole-of-government forums.
* Establish, promote and oversee CAT IT governance standards, compliance requirements and operational processes, acting as a key point of contact for system governance matters.
* Maintain effective working relationships with the judiciary, departmental officers and the legal profession to support the consistent, coordinated and high-quality delivery of information and court technology services.
Qualifications and conditions
* Tertiary qualifications in information technology, business, law, public administration, or a related discipline (postgraduate qualifications desirable) would be well regarded.
