We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team in Oakey, Queensland. As an Electronics Technician, you will play a key role in a high-impact program within our Red Ochre Autonomy and Sensors team.
This full-time position involves routine and reactive maintenance on ATC navigation and comms systems. You will be responsible for logging and managing tasks using Defence maintenance systems, responding to operational needs, and working independently to diagnose faults and certify maintenance.
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum Certificate III/IV in Electronics and experience in a relevant technical industry. Proven experience with complex electronic systems is highly desirable, as is previous experience working with radar and/or air traffic control systems.
You will work in a highly regulated, defence-aligned environment, requiring a Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance or eligibility to obtain. Additionally, you must be eligible to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations and hold a Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
