About the Role
We are partnering with a well-established organisation in the construction and geotechnical sector to find an experienced Screw Pile Engineer to join their expanding technical team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about geotechnical engineering, screw pile design, and delivering innovative, high-quality engineering solutions.
You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams-including Engineering, Operations, Drilling, Fabrication, Lab, and Field staff-to deliver accurate, efficient, and compliant project outcomes. This is a role that offers autonomy, strong leadership support, and the opportunity to directly influence the continued growth of the engineering function.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver geotechnical and screw pile design solutions for a range of residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects
* Conduct design calculations, interpret geotechnical reports, and develop practical engineering solutions
* Support field operations with efficient and compliant designs
* Provide technical guidance to internal teams and contribute to improving engineering capabilities
* Collaborate with operations, construction, and drilling teams to ensure seamless project delivery
* Produce high-quality engineering reports, documentation, and technical communication
* Contribute to ongoing innovation, safety improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives
Key Skills & Experience
Experience
* 3-5+ years in foundation, geotechnical, structural, or screw pile engineering
* Must have experience working on residential projects
* Experience supporting or delivering deep foundation or screw pile projects
* Demonstrated analytical skills and real-world engineering judgement
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering
* NER and/or RPEQ registration, or actively working toward accreditation
* CPEng highly regarded
Technical Skills
* Strong understanding of soil behaviour, geotechnical principles, and screw pile systems
* Ability to interpret geotechnical data, lab results, and field logs
* Proficiency with engineering design software and modelling tools
* Excellent report writing, documentation control, and communication skills
* Confidence engaging with internal teams, drillers, operators, and clients
