This role will suit someone who enjoys being close to the business and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Job DescriptionManage month-end processes, including accruals, journals, and reconciliationsReconcile bank accounts related to deposits, sales, and settlements weeklyReview settlement statements for residential salesPrepare commission calculations in line with sales and payment termsSupport the finance team during audit processes and year-end reportingAssist in budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly feasibility reviewsValidate and upload capex budgetsReview project cost allocations and ensure accurate codingMonitor project cashflows vs. budget/forecastHelp manage purchase order queries for Development and Sales teamsMaintain project records and set up within internal systemsContribute to ongoing process improvements and ad-hoc finance tasksThe Successful ApplicantDegree qualified in Accounting or related fieldCurrently completing or already hold CA/CPAStrong Excel and PowerPoint skillsPrevious experience in property or development industry essentialExposure to financial modelling is advantageousExperience with JDE or other ERP systems highly regardedStrong initiative, attention to detail, and ownership over tasksFamiliarity with Australian Accounting Standards / AIFRSComfortable adapting to changing priorities in a fast-moving environmentWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary packageFlexibility with hybrid working optionsSupportive team environment with development opportunities
