Support Worker (In-Home Disability Services)
Casual role. Classification: Level 2 – Pay point will be determined based on experience and qualifications. Work Location: Kew, VIC.

About The Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and assistance to our clients, helping them achieve their goals and live independently. You will work closely with clients, supporting them with daily living activities, personal care, and community engagement.
Shift Requirements
Need availability to complete both morning and sleepover shifts.
* Day Shift: 0700-1500
* Sleepover (Inactive): 1445-2300, and 0700-0715 for handover with day staff.
Typical Day
* Provide personal care support in line with Individual Support Plans.
* Assist participants with daily living activities in meal preparation and feeding.
* Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry etc.
* Accompany and support clients in community-based activities, such as social outings, appointments and recreational pursuits.
* Ensure all required documentation (including daily notes, communication and progress reports) is thorough and up to date.
* Experience with behaviours of concern and utilising strategies in respective support plans.
* Adhere to all organisational policies, including medication administration, WHS, client rights, privacy, and confidentiality.
* Work within a team environment.
To Be Considered For This Role You Will Have
* Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, or related qualification.
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in disability or healthcare services.
* Strong communication, written, interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Flexibility to work across a range of shift types. Shifts may vary depending on need.
