OverviewGreet members, help members load orders onto conveyor belt, determine packing preferences, answer questions, relate information on special promotions, thank members and provide prompt and courteous member service.
Pack member orders into boxes and load back into trolley or flatbed.
Check packaging for tampering.
Follow all safety and security procedures.
Assist members loading orders into car when required.
Assist cashiers with stock counts, packing and unpacking of carts, running for items required by member or cashier, keeping register stocked with supplies, and completing item lookups.
Assist cashiers in scanning large items remaining on carts.
Follow proper departmental procedures and policies.
Good time management and punctuality are essential.
Maintain cleanliness of the register area and front end area; clean spills and maintain a protected workspace.
Retrieve trolleys and flatbeds from the parking area using correct safety equipment; follow safety procedures and supervisor instruction.
Maintain a clean lot area.
Clean and sanitise carts.
Performs related tasks such as setup and closing duties for the department (returning products, stocking registers, housekeeping).
