About the NSW Independent Casino Commission The NSW Independent Casino Commission (NICC) is an independent statutory body, constituted by the Casino Control Act 1992. The Commission is responsible for the supervision and regulation of the NSW casino industry, upholding the highest standards of integrity, overseeing reform of the sector and monitoring and enforcing compliance with regulations. The NICC plays a vital role in rebuilding public trust in the NSW casino industry through visible and robust regulatory oversight and through the development and implementation of requirements and standards that appropriately address risk and harms arising from casino operations. This includes implementing stringent new controls to prevent money laundering and other criminal activity.
About the role The Manager, Communications and Digital will provide strategic advice and plan, develop and deliver communications, digital strategies and activities to support initiatives, programs and events for the NICC. Some of the role accountabilities include –
* Develop and deliver integrated communications strategies and expert advice strategic to support NICC announcements, events and initiatives across multiple channels to achieve targeted, engaging, relevant and effective communications.
* Develop impactful and targeted communications and collateral to ensure communications effectively convey key messages to varied audiences and are tailored to suit relevant channels.
* Manage communications projects to enable the efficient and effective communication of information to stakeholders.
* Lead and monitor emerging contentious issues impacting the NICC to inform communications planning and effective responses.
* Provide detailed, evidence-based analysis and reporting to support strategic decision making processes, and identify opportunities to develop and implement initiatives, keeping abreast of latest best practice and emerging trends in communications.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Experience developing and implementing communications strategies that deliver quality outcomes to tight deadlines.
* Experience managing communication projects utilising multiple communications channels.
* Stakeholder management expertise and experience navigating through government processes combined with strong leadership skills and the ability to drive performance in complex, politically and commercially sensitive environment.
* Demonstrated experience working at a senior or executive level in a complex organisation delivering specialist and authoritative advice to executive leadership.
Essential requirements –
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience.
* Appointment and ongoing assignment may be subject to restrictions and the satisfactory participation in mandatory pre-employment and ongoing probity screening, in accordance with relevant Legislation and/or related policies.
* Appointment and ongoing assignment are subject to satisfactorily meeting the integrity standards set out in section 14 of the Gaming and Liquor Administration Act 2007.
* This role is designated as a key official under section 16 of the Gaming and Liquor Administration Act 2007.
