About the role

Nerdiois seeking aDirector, People Business Partnerto support ourChief Marketing Officer (CMO), Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), and our Managed Service Provider (MSP) business leadership.

Marketing, Revenue, and our MSP ecosystemoperateat the interconnected core ofNerdio'sgrowth engine. Marketing drives demand and brand awareness; Revenue converts and expands customer relationships; and our MSP partners are a critical force multiplier in delivering solutions and driving customer success at scale. Their interdependence requires tight alignment in planning, partner enablement, performance measurement, and talent strategy.

This role sits at the center of that alignment.

This is ahigh-impact, senior individual contributor roleresponsible for driving organizational effectiveness, performance excellence, leadership capability, and executive-aligned talent strategy across these critical functions.

The Director will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leaders and their teams, bringing strong commercial acumen, organization designexpertise, and pragmatic talent strategy to supportNerdio'scontinued scale and performance. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable shaping multi-year workforce strategy as they are addressing complex employee relations matters and leading through organizational change.

In addition to executive functional partnership, this role will serve as theprimary People Business Partner forNerdio'sAmericas region, partnering with regional leadership todrive organizational effectiveness, performance rigor, and scalable people practices across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.

What you'll do

Executive Partnership and Strategic Advisory

* Serve as the primary People partner to the CMO, CRO, and MSP business leadership teams.
* Act as a strategic thought partner on commercial growth, operating rigor, and talent alignment.
* Advise onorganization design, incentive alignment considerations, workforce planning, and capability development across marketing, revenue, and partner-facing teams.
* Provide executive coaching and counsel on leadership effectiveness, team performance, and organizational health.
* Translate company strategy and financialobjectivesinto practical talent and organizational actions.
* Challenge leaders constructively whilemaintainingtrust and influence at the executive level.
* Identifyand champion opportunities toleverageAI and automation to improve team productivity, decision-making, and scalability across Marketing, Revenue, and partner-facing organizations.
* Partner with executives to assess capability gaps, role evolution, and change management implications driven by AI adoption.

Organization Design & Workforce Planning

* Partneronevolving Marketing, Revenue, and MSP-related organizational structures to support growth, efficiency, and scale.
* Support headcount planning and talent strategy in partnership with executive leadership and business planning processes.
* Ensure clarity around roles, accountability, spans and layers, and decision rights.
* Identifyskill gaps and future capability needs across commercial, marketing, and partner-facing functions.
* Lead organizational change efforts with thoughtful communication and change management strategies.

Performance & Talent Management

* Lead performance enablement processes within Marketing, Revenue, and MSP-related organizations.
* Foster a culture of accountability, measurable outcomes, and high performance.
* Support calibration, talent review discussions, and succession planning in partnership withannual cycle programs sponsored by thePeopleteam.
* Ensure alignment between revenue goals, partner ecosystem performance, and individual performance expectations.
* Coach leaders on difficult performance conversations, talent risk, and development planning.

Leadership Integration & Talent Acceleration

* Partner with Talent Acquisition andhiring leadersto ensure seamless onboarding experiences for new hires,in particular forsenior roles.
* Design and lead bespoke onboarding and integration plans for senior leaders, accelerating time toimpact.
* Establish structured30-60-90 dayframeworks tied to commercial and financial outcomes.
* Support leadership transitions and team re-alignments during periods of growth or change.

Employee Relations & Risk Management

* Manage complex employeerelationsmatters with discretion, sound judgment, and executive visibility.
* Ensure compliance with employment law and company policy across covered organizations.
* Mitigate organizational risk while preserving trust, fairness, and leadership credibility.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with:

* People Operations (systems, compliance, workforce analytics)
* Learning & Development (primarily in revenue facing roles, though working to build and scale bespoke offerings within the client group)
* Talent Acquisition (strategic hiring alignment across commercial, marketing, and partner-facing roles)

Ensure People programs meaningfully support revenue performance, marketing effectiveness, and the scalability ofNerdio'spartner ecosystem.

Qualifications

* 10to12+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant Business Partner experience supporting executive leaders.
* Demonstrated experience partnering with Revenue, Sales, Marketing, or partner ecosystem organizations in high-growth environments(SaaS experience strongly preferred).
* Strong commercial and financial acumen; ability to understand pipeline dynamics, forecasting, and operating metrics.
* Deep organization design and workforce planningexpertise.
* Experience supporting performance-driven, quota-carrying or metric-intensive environments.
* Demonstrated ability toidentifyandleverageAI and automation opportunities to enhance workforce productivity, decision-making, and organizational effectiveness.
* Experience designing structured onboarding experiences, including executive-level integration plans.
* Proven ability to influence, challenge, and coach senior leaders constructively.
* Experience driving performance management, talent calibration, and succession processes.
* Comfort navigating ambiguity, scaling systems, andoperatingwith autonomy.
* High emotional intelligence, executive presence, and credibility with senior leadership.
* Pragmatic,solutions-oriented mindset with a bias toward action and measurable impact.
