Our Bosch Australia Manufacturing Solutions (BAMS) department is a leader in designing and developing special purpose equipment and machinery. We combine a passion for solving complex engineering challenges with unmatched expertise in supporting the manufacture of a diverse industry base with our purpose-built machines. We are passionate about success within our experienced and highly skilled team. Due to the nature of the position, some local and interstate travel may be required.
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in automation, manufacturing, or engineering? Bosch Oceania seeks a dynamic professional to lead key projects, drive process improvements, and support business growth within our BAMS department. This is a 2-year maximum-term, full-time opportunity based at our Head Office in Clayton and may involve occasional domestic and international travel.
About the Role:
* Manage automation and engineering services projects as assigned
* Actively manage projects and associated risks to achieve financial and business targets
* Monitor, report status of projects, and implement corrective actions
* Maintain quality and document recording systems in line with internal procedures
* Support project acquisitions with internal and external customers
* Drive process improvements and develop internal project management services
* Interface with customers on project matters
* Prepare and actively manage project integration and execution plans
* Manage project scope, timing, and costs, including monitoring and corrective actions
* Ensure equipment release complies with customer specifications
We are looking for an innovative thinker who works well in a team, can get things done with a positive attitude, is results-focused, and pays high attention to detail.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following:
* Relevant degree in Engineering or related industry experience
* PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner certification / PMP is highly desirable
* Strong project management experience in automation, manufacturing, or engineering industries
* Experience with special-purpose machinery and manufacturing site setup is highly regarded
* Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) within manufacturing
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
* Proven ability to manage risks and lead project teams
* Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and SAP
* Valid Driver's License
* Willingness to travel occasionally regionally, interstate, and overseas
