As a Technical Services Representative You'll take ownership of providing expert, hands-on technical support throughout the full product life cycle, and work side by side with engineering, sales and service teams to defect tracking and product improvement. This role is a hybrid role with the expectation to Travel to and from various Client sites. You'll become a trusted advisor, delivering tailored technical solutions, supporting asset performance, and helping clients maximise the value of every Schlam product
About The Role
* Be the frontline technical expert respond to queries and provide trusted guidance.
* Conduct inspections, track asset performance and support preventive maintenance.
* Identify and resolve asset defects and manage warranty claims with efficiency and accuracy.
* Collaborate across engineering, sales and field service teams during commissioning.
* Discover and pursue sales opportunities for parts and services.
* Provide actionable feedback to improve product design and field performance.
* Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with clients.
Essential
* Knowledge with mining buckets, truck trays, or heavy mobile equipment.
* 3+ years' experience in technical services, field support, ideally in heavy industry or mining equipment.
* Strong communication skills confident in both technical writing and face-to-face interactions.
* Ability to translate technical detail into simple, effective client solutions.
* A proactive, hands-on approach and a natural problem solver.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Desirable
* Experience with MYOB EXO or similar systems
* Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
* Certifications in asset maintenance, diagnostics or equipment servicing.
* Qualifications or experience in Project Management.
* Understanding of mobile equipment manufacturing and performance testing.
