Chronic Pain Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled medical practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in the Central Coast Integrated Pain Service.
This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist in pain medicine to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients with chronic pain.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex cases of chronic pain and developing effective treatment plans in consultation with the patient’s primary care physician and other relevant healthcare professionals.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, the successful candidate will also participate in education and training activities, including teaching medical students and residents.
* Clinical Responsibilities:
* Manage complex cases of chronic pain
* Develop effective treatment plans
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
* Qualifications:
* Medical Practitioner registered or able to be registered in Australia
* Recognised specialist qualifications, Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine, Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists
* Appropriate experience to practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner in Pain Medicine
* Ability to work constructively in a Multidisciplinary team with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
About the Role:
This is a permanent part-time position working 0.6 FTE (18 hours per week). The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service.
