Are you an organised and proactive HSEQ Administrator looking for a new challenge in a dynamic, supportive environment? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in Townsville on a full-time permanent basis.
Townsville, QLD
Permanent, Monday to Friday
$80,000 plus superannuation
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
Documentation & Record-Keeping
Maintain and update HSE registers (incident, training, inspections, risk assessments)
File and manage safety documentation (SWMS, MSDS, permits, audits)
Prepare and distribute HSE reports and meeting minutes
Compliance & Reporting
Assist with compliance under WHS Act 2011 (QLD), WHS Regulations, and relevant legislation
Support internal and external audits by gathering evidence and documentation
Lodge incident notifications and other required documents with WorkSafe QLD
Training & Inductions
Schedule and monitor HSE training, inductions, and refreshers
Maintain the training competency matrix
Support onboarding with site-specific inductions
Incident & Hazard Management
Record and track hazards, near misses, and incidents in the HSE system
Assist with incident investigations—prepare documentation, summaries, and timelines
Monitor and follow up on corrective actions to ensure closure
System Administration
Maintain data in HSE management platforms (e.g., Breadcrumb, Lucidity)
Generate reports to identify trends and track compliance
Manage version control of HSE policies, procedures, and forms
Communication & Coordinator
Assist in delivering toolbox talks, pre-start meetings, and safety committee session
Liaise with site supervisors, contractors, and HSE staff for data and action follow-up
Distribute safety alerts, bulletins, and newsletters
ABOUT YOU:
Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
Previous exposure to working with HSE departments
Construction White Card
Intermediate Word and Excel Skills
HSE Qualifications – Certificate III and above (Advantageous)
Previous experience working with Breadcrumb and Lucidity
