C2C Mine Maintenance is a Mackay-based maintenance company delivering high-quality mechanical and auto electrical services to the Mackay and surrounding areas industry. We specialise in everything from Light Vehicles to Heavy Road Transport.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman to lead our workshop team and oversee maintenance operations.
About the Role
As the Workshop Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising workshop personnel, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
You will play a key role in maintaining productivity, quality control, and supporting the development of our trades team.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and lead workshop tradespeople and apprentices
* Plan and coordinate workshop jobs and maintenance schedules
* Ensure all work is completed safely and to company standards
* Maintain high levels of quality control on repairs and rebuilds
* Liaise with management regarding workload, resources, and job progress
* Provide technical guidance and support to the team
* Ensure compliance with site and safety procedures
* Maintain accurate job records and reporting
Skills & Experience
* Trade qualification in Diesel Fitting / Heavy Diesel / Light Vehicle Mechanical
* Previous experience in a Workshop Foreman or Leading Hand role
* Strong knowledge of Heavy Road Transport is desirable
* Proven leadership and team management skills
* Ability to prioritise work and manage workshop productivity
* Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
