With over three decades of experience, the company manages projects up to $15 million across Sydney and parts of NSW, delivering exceptional service to education, transport infrastructure, heritage, commercial, industrial, community, government, and social housing sectors.
With a large pipeline and ambitious growth plans, this company needs a Construction Manager who can leverage their industry experience to support strategic business development and build strong relationships with existing and new clients. It's the chance to bring deep technical expertise to an organization that values professionalism, practical leadership, and networking-all while maintaining a Monday-to-Friday schedule with structured hours.
Your new role
The Construction Manager will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering high-quality construction projects while driving the business's expansion into larger-scale work. Responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and completion, the role ensures operations run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. This position will be instrumental in developing EOIs, mentoring project managers, and driving business development to support company growth. The Construction Manager will manage subcontractors, oversee contracts, foster strong relationships with existing clients, and leverage an extensive industry network to bring in new subcontractors. Additionally, the role will involve implementing strategic initiatives to help position the company to obtain projects up to $40M.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will bring extensive Tier 1 and Tier 2 construction experience, with a proven track record of managing high-value projects. The role requires an expert in business development, capable of identifying, securing, and successfully delivering larger projects. Strong leadership skills, deep industry knowledge, and proficiency in cost, time, and quality control will be essential.
