Royal Prince Alfred Hospital is a leading teaching hospital of the University of Sydney.
We offer an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services.
Specialities include cardiothoracic/adult ECMO, obstetrics and gynaecology, surgical oncology, colorectal, liver and kidney transplants.
We are seeking 1 advanced trainee in paediatrics with an interest in neonatology to fill 1FTE position.
The position would suit an advanced trainee undertaking perinatal training, or a general paediatric advanced trainee wishing to gain more experience in neonatal care.

Requirements:
* MBBS or equivalent currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Registered for advanced training in Neonatology or advanced general paediatric training with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or equivalent.
* At least six months experience as an advanced trainee in a Neonatal Intensive Care unit with an interest in undertaking further advanced training in Neonatology within Australia.
* Demonstrate developed skills in all procedures used in neonatal intensive care.
* Ability to make independent clinical decisions within the limits of ability and to know when to consult for advice.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills with colleagues and families and have a good track record of working well within a team.
* Demonstrate an interest and an ability to perform independent research, and demonstrate an understanding of good teaching methods and a commitment to instruction and supervision of Junior Medical and other clinical staff.
