Hotel Manager Job Summary
As a seasoned hospitality professional, we seek an experienced Hotel Manager to lead our Front Office team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and develop leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead by example when attending to guest requests and maintain high standards of customer service.
* Supervise and support the Front Office team and other departments as required.
* Ensure suitable manning levels are maintained at all times across the hotel.
* Implement policies and procedures for efficient operations and effective communication.
* Authorize roster changes and ensure strict adherence to cash handling and confidentiality protocols.
* Develop and implement training programs for employees, conduct inductions and skills training.
* Maintain accurate records and reports, and monitor financial performance.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
* Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years' experience in Luxury Front Office management.
* Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and leading high-performing teams.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work under pressure.
* Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends, nights, and public holidays.
* Hold a current RSA and First Aid certificate.
* High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
