We are currently partnering with a well-established commercial builder to appoint an experienced Site Manager for an upcoming VSBA project located in the Southeast location (Pakenham Corridor).
This opportunity would suit a Site Manager who is confident running education builds, understands VSBA requirements, and is ideally based in the South-Eastminimising commute and allowing strong site presence.
The Role:
You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on program and to VSBA standards. You'll be supported by an experienced project team while having the autonomy to run the site effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all on-site construction activities from establishment through to completion
* Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades
* Ensure strict compliance with OH&S, quality and VSBA requirements
* Drive the construction program and manage sequencing
* Maintain site records, reporting and documentation
* Liaise with consultants, inspectors and project stakeholders
What you will need:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on VSBA / education projects or similar
* Strong understanding of government-funded build requirements
* Ability to run a site independently and lead teams confidently
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Trade background or construction qualification preferred
