About Our Role
We are seeking motivated applicants for opportunities within our Production department ahead of a new season. As a Production Operator, you will work across a 7-day roster, inclusive of day, afternoon, and night shifts, in a modern facility with a focus on safety and quality.
The role involves working within process areas and includes duties such as:
* Inspecting incoming raw materials
* Safely operating fixed plant processing equipment
* Cleaning and sanitizing production lines
* Accurately completing daily shift logs/system entries
* Forklift operations (for those suitably licensed)
* Adhering to GMP and food safety practices
* Contributing to continual improvement processes
* Working within an active manufacturing environment
Requirements
Possess a commitment to workplace safety
Ability to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day roster
A current forklift license and demonstrated operating experience (mandatory for fork duties)
Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
Experience in manufacturing, process, or mechanical roles advantageous
Possess attention to detail
Possess high written and verbal communication skills, time management skills, and ability to work to production schedules
Ability to work within a team environment
Positive communication skills
Ability to undertake in-house aptitude testing as part of the recruitment process
Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment (inclusive of urine-based drug and alcohol screening)
