Female Disability Support Worker – Port Willunga, SA We are seeking FEMALE Disability Support Workers to support a male client based in Port Willunga. This is a great opportunity for someone who is active, reliable, and enjoys supporting clients to participate in community and lifestyle activities. About the Role You will provide person-centred support to a client who enjoys being active and spending time outdoors. Support may include assisting the client to access the community, attend activities, build confidence, and stay engaged in interests that are meaningful to them. The client may wish to meet shortlisted candidates as part of a second-stage interview process to ensure the right support match. Shift Availability Regular shifts are generally: Tuesday: 9:00am – 2:00pm Thursday: 9:00am – 2:00pm Every second Sunday: 9:00am – 2:00pm Key Responsibilities Provide respectful, person-centred disability support Support the client with community access and social participation Encourage independence, choice and control Assist the client to participate in outdoor and recreational activities Build positive rapport and maintain professional boundaries Communicate clearly and follow support plans and workplace procedures Maintain accurate documentation and report any concerns as required About the Client A male client who enjoys active, outdoor and community-based activities, including going for walks, getting coffee, going to the gym, kicking the football, spending time outdoors Essential Requirements Relevant disability, aged care or community support experience Current Paid NDIS Worker Screening Check Current First Aid and CPR Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle and comprehensive insurance Working with Children Check - Employee Pay Rates B2.1 (Casual) SCHADS Award B2.1 Casual Rates (before tax): Base hourly rate: $43.23 Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $47.55 Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $48.41 Saturday: $60.52 Sunday: $77.81 Public holiday: $95.10 All employees will be required to comply with mandatory directives as mandated within the relevant state or territory where they work.
