The Tritton Mining team is in an excellent position to achieve its goals, and we are looking for an experienced Underground Mine Manager to see this through. This role will be strongly focused on safe mine productivity through strong leadership, key decision making and the development of the mining and Technical Services teams.
The UG is entering a planned period of consolidation as we build for the future. During this time, we are strengthening our internal capabilities and selectively bringing in new talent to help shape what comes next. This role offers a unique opportunity to join the team at a foundational moment, contribute to meaningful work now, and play a key part in setting UG up for its next phase of growth.
What You Bring
Proven experience as a credible and trusted leader — the unicorn we’re all looking for — who combines emotional intelligence with clear direction, strong engagement, and a genuine commitment to motivating and mentoring teams. Additionally, you will bring:
Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent. New South Wales Mining Engineering Managers Practising Certificate or ability to obtain one within 3 months. Proven track record of delivering improved production outcomes Proven track record of building and motivating teams by providing clear direction and support Knowledge of NSW governance/legislative requirements. A desire to ‘get your hands dirty’ and see opportunities within challenges. Enthusiasm, commitment and self-direction.

The Company
Tritton Operations
Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.
Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, we are are transitioning to a ‘hub-and-spoke’ model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.
