About Your New Role
As the Water Planning Team Leader - Specialist, the primary role is to manage your team to support effective forward planning of water and wastewater assets for the City. You will drive the City's transition to integrated and evidence-based planning, including the development of tools, processes and wider business collaboration to support this approach. A key outcome of the application of this process will be a well targeted capital works program with defined benefits that will reduce risk, improve performance and cater for growth.
You are first a people manager and second a technical and strategic leader that is able to provide a clear vision between target deliverables and team KPIs.
We're Looking For People Who Have
We're looking for people who have:
* Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent knowledge
* 15 years experience in Planning within the Water industry
* C Class Drivers Licence (Mandatory)
* General Construction Induction Card (White) (Mandatory)
* Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland registration is highly regarded
* Demonstrated experience leading a team
* Effective written and verbal communication
