Job Description
We're seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Residential Youth Worker. In this role, you'll play a vital part in providing a safe and nurturing living environment for children and young people who need it most.
Your day will be filled with supporting young people to manage challenging behaviors, planning and attending activities that promote life-skills development, and following daily routines to foster independence and self-reliance.
You'll also complete case notes and administrative tasks, while maintaining a clean and safe environment that's conducive to growth and learning.

Essential Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A QLD Working with Children Blue Card or have applied for one
* A current Queensland driver's licence with no restrictions
* The ability to provide two references from recent employers (including your current line manager)
* Already hold or are enrolled in a Certificate IV or higher in a relevant field prior to commencing work (we can provide advice/more information on this)
* Availability for a variety of different shifts over a fortnightly roster (day/evening/sleepover/weekend)
