 
        
        The Chef de Partie is a crucial position in our kitchen team to ensure the kitchen consistently delivers timely and high-quality service to our patrons. You will manage your section of the kitchen with support from junior kitchen staff and at the direction of our head chef. You will bring your established skills as a chef to this position and be part of a collaborative and supportive kitchen team that prides itself on delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Task and responsibilities:
 * Working closely with the Head Chef and other chefs to maintain our high restaurant standards.
 * Monitoring quality of food production to ensure it meets restaurant standards in your section of the kitchen (timeframes, portion control, presentation, and quality).
 * Preparing and cooking food in your section to highest quality standards to lead by example for junior kitchen staff.
 * Managing all aspects of your delegated section of the kitchen operations as instructed by the Head / Sous Chef.
 * Supporting the chef team to discuss and implement menu adjustments, cost control, and quality control.
 * Managing any special dietary requirements, VIP patrons, individual dietary requirements.
 * Working with the senior chefs to review and ensure the profitable and safe operation of the kitchen at all times.
 * Instructing, training, and development of cooks, apprentices, and other kitchen staff.
 * Monitoring staff compliance with food safety and health and safety standards.
 * Liaising with restaurant front of house staff to ensure efficient expedition of menu from kitchen to patrons.
 * Ensuring quality control on incoming produce and addressing any issues promptly.
 * Offering advice in the elaboration and correct translation of the menus to patrons where required.

Qualification and experience:
 * Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
 * Culinary degree or equivalent professional training, desirable.
 * Excellent knowledge and use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and processes.
 * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
 * Strong attention to detail and quality control.
 * Good communication and teamwork skills.
 * Ability to work under pressure in a busy high-volume kitchen.
 * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
