**Job Title:** Cloud Deployment Specialist
About this role:
The Cloud Deployment Specialist is a key member of our team responsible for deploying Prometheus product applications in SaaS environments and on-premises customer-managed environments.
* Deploy SaaS applications in cloud-hosted environments.
* Support deployment of Prometheus applications in on-premises customers' environments.
* Identify problems and develop preventive measures and solutions.
* Assist in roll-out and deployment of new product features and installations.
* Develop automation to prevent inefficiencies and human errors.
* Work with the development team to ensure defects-free SaaS applications.
* Maintain working cadence with DevOps teams for efficient continuous integration and delivery.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
* 2+ years experience in cloud-based applications deployment and management.
* Experience with AWS services, Kubernetes, Docker, containerized applications, CI/CD pipelines, scripting languages, infrastructure-as-code, databases, Linux, Windows operating systems, server administration, and cloud networking concepts.
* Desired qualifications include Azure experience, AWS certifications, .NET and Java programming skills, SAML2.0 SSO integrations, middleware technologies, Dynatrace application monitoring tools, and SSL certificate management.
