Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Tax Associate to join our team. As a key member of the tax group, you will work closely with partners and other team members to provide expert tax advice and guidance to clients.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in tax advisory and transactional work, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for providing technically sound and commercially informed advice on tax issues that are relevant to transactions and projects for our clients in various sectors, including technology and energy.
As a Tax Associate, you will also collaborate closely with other practice groups across the firm, including Corporate M&A, Banking and Finance, Investment Funds and Superannuation, Real Estate and Dispute Resolution, to deliver seamless, cohesive and commercially optimised advice and specialist transactional support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in tax advisory and transactional work
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and effectively manage smaller matters and elements of larger matters
