This opportunity is with one of our fast growing entities, Vision Surveys. Vision Surveys (QLD) has been operating in Queensland for over a decade, with the three Directors having a combined local presence of over 50 years. They provide comprehensive Mining, Engineering, or Cadastral Land Surveying and Town Planning Consulting.
About the Role
Vision Surveys is seeking a full time Surveyor to join our team based at our Gladstone office. This position will play a key role in delivering high quality surveying services across a range of residential, commercial and civil projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct field surveys, site measurements and data collection
* Prepare survey plans, reports and spatial data outputs
* Operate surveying instruments including GPS, total stations and digital levels
* Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications, legislation and safety requirements
* Liaise with clients, engineers, site managers and internal teams
* Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records
Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required
* Degree or Diploma in Surveying or a related discipline
* Proven experience working as a Surveyor (or in a similar surveying role)
* Strong technical proficiency with surveying equipment and software
* Understanding of land surveying standards, processes and regulatory frameworks
* Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment
* Strong communication and organisational capabilities
* Current open driver's licence
