Temporary Settlement and Administration Officer three-month role within the State Government
Your new companyOur State Government client is seeking a temporary Settlement and Administration Officer on a three-month temporary basis.
Your new role
- Perform general administrative and financial duties such as payment requests, filing, recordkeeping, and document handling.
- Check daily settlements and registrations to ensure all dealings are accurately recorded.
- Attend property settlements and registrations as required.
- Prepare documentation for conveyancing tasks related to real property and securities transactions (e.g., mortgages and discharges).
- Use computerised systems including databases, spreadsheets, and word processing software to manage records and activities.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in an administrative role, ideally within a legal, property, or government setting.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, coordinate activities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in using computerised systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and database applications.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a supportive team environment.
