The ideal candidate will be proactive, values-driven, experienced in policy development, compliance, and HR systems to support operational excellence.About The RolePeople Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy focusing on capability building and engagement.Attraction and Retention: Create strategies to attract and retain talent to meet organisational goals.Talent Management: Implement performance management strategies, support career development, and manage dispute resolution processes.Remuneration: Maintain a fair, equitable remuneration review model, including external benchmarking.Employee Wellbeing: Oversee wellbeing programs and chair the WHS Management Committee.Organisational Culture: Assess and enhance organisational culture continuously.Policy Development: Develop HR policies and support the Remuneration Committee.System Administration: Manage HRIS/Payroll systems, ensuring optimal utilisation and ongoing improvements.Compliance: Ensure employment records and practices meet legislative and regulatory standards.Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.Essential CriteriaExtensive HR experience with relevant tertiary qualificationsUnderstanding of Catholic Education missionManagement, leadership, negotiation, and facilitation skillsExpertise in HR policies and practicesExperience with Mercer Remuneration Framework and job evaluationsStrategic business understandingStrong relationship management and influencing skillsExcellent communication and service orientationKnowledge of employment law and ‘Employer of Choice’ practicesProven business partnering abilityEffective interaction at executive and strategic levelsWorking at CEnetEnjoy career growth, flexible work options, additional leave, and a family-friendly environment with various wellness perks, located near Wollongong City Beach.
