Opportunity
The Ear and Hearing Health team is seeking a casual Clinical Research Audiologist to provide research support clinical oversight for the Healthy Ears clinical trial.
This role will work across multiple sites, including Perth Children's Hospital and Cockburn Integrated Health, and is based at Nedlands and Cockburn.
Responsibilities
* Conduct audiology and ear‑health assessments for families participating in the trial.
* Collect and manage study data, including entry, cleaning, extraction, summaries, and contribute to analysis and reporting.
* Prepare clinical reports, referrals, and care plans in accordance with protocol, SOPs, and ICH‑GCP guidelines.
* Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, including allied health, specialists, and Aboriginal health organisations.
* Support project operations by attending meetings, maintaining resources, contributing to reports, and assisting with Medicare billing (if qualified).
* Engage in professional and cultural development, uphold Aboriginal health research standards, and contribute positively to team planning and collaboration.
Qualifications
* A Bachelor or Master's degree in Audiology.
* Ability to use audiological software for behavioural audiometry.
* Demonstrated empathy and respect for Aboriginal culture.
* Involvement in health research projects, including study design, data collection, and data management.
* High level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
