The Gig
We are looking for a experience Barista/Bartender to join our incredible Hotel. The spaces are like no other, with a fantastic team to supervise. This is a leadership role that will give room and scope to grow and have significant input into the evolution of our hotel brand in Australia. In this role, you will be assisting the venue manager in running the show This a Casual role and will require flexibility within availability. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
* Quickly and efficiently attend to all guest coffee orders
* Showcase your talent by performing exceptional latte art
* Perform outstanding teamwork among the barista team, and assist other sections as required
* Maintain the top-notch coffee outlet performance for cleanliness, equipment condition (coffee machine, grinders, etc), glassware (coffee cup, tea pot,etc)
* Prepare non-coffee drinks such as juices, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages etc.
* Familiarise yourself with restaurant products and services including full knowledge of menus, wine lists and other beverages
* Encourage feedback from our guests, to update and maintain guest history records, enabling us to anticipate the needs of our guests
* Demonstrate a good knowledge of the local area and continually update knowledge of the latest trends
About you
At Ovolo, we are all about YOU. We provide a fun and exciting environment and all we ask is that you give us your dedication to our brand and most importantly, your team To be successful in this role, you will ideally have 1-2 years' experience at making preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items while providing friendly and efficient service in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge & skills of latte-art would be advantageous to the role. On top of this, you will bring your awesome personality which will brighten up anyone's day You will have great communication skills and a can-do, positive attitude.
