Remuneration: $31.86 - $36.02 per hour

Where you'll be working

Join the dedicated Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service at Westmead Hospital, a leading tertiary hospital known for excellence in complex rehabilitation care. You’ll be part of a highly specialised inpatient unit focused on supporting individuals with brain injuries to regain independence and improve quality of life.

What you'll be doing

In this hands-on Allied Health Assistant role, you will support Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists to deliver effective rehabilitation programs and maximise patient outcomes. Your key responsibilities will be to:

* Assist with therapy programs to build patient functional skills

* Deliver therapy sessions across hospital and community settings

* Prepare therapy materials, equipment and patient resources

* Document patient progress using electronic medical records

* Support team operations, including admin and equipment management

Selection Criteria:

* Effective written and verbal communication skills.

* Demonstrated time management skills.

* Ability to work professionally in a team.

* Sewing ability.

* Basic computer skills including use of email, internet, word processing and digital photography.

* Willingness to learn new computer programs.

* Previous experience working with people with disabilities.

* Current NSW Driver's Licence valid within Australia.
