The Brand is a purpose-led brand creating ethical and sustainable fine jewellery with showrooms across Australia and New Zealand, with an imminent international expansion. They are a digital-first business that combines superior craftsmanship with modern technology, honouring the environment with sustainability at the core. The role is for an Ecommerce Manager to join their team in a newly created position.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Brand & Marketing, the Ecommerce Manager is responsible for leading the development, optimisation, and day-to-day operations of the brand’s digital touchpoints. This includes ensuring every aspect of the online experience—from imagery and content to user flow and conversion—is aligned with the brand and driven by performance data.
Responsibilities
- Lead, improve and report on ecommerce performance metrics including conversion rates, average order value, site speed and on-site engagement.
- Oversee UX/UI design improvements for new and existing website components, informed by customer data and testing.
- Manage global brand websites, ensuring seamless localisation, consistent brand presentation, and performance across all regions.
- Own the planning and execution of website content updates in line with the marketing calendar and campaign launches.
- Manage the roll out and upkeep of a new client facing app.
- Design and maintain visually impactful, high-performing webpages that align with the premium brand identity.
- Manage uploads of new products, ensuring content is accurately merchandised and presented to brand standards.
- Source renders and imagery from the content team and publish them across the website to support new launches, updates, and general content maintenance.
- Conduct ongoing A/B testing to enhance user experience and optimise conversion rates.
Skillset / Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in eCommerce management, ideally within a premium or luxury DTC brand – jewellery, fashion or beauty highly preferred.
- Proven ability to track, interpret, and act on performance data using platforms like Google Analytics and Shopify Analytics.
- Strong proficiency in UX/UI best practices and user journey design for digital retail.
- Hands-on experience with CMS platforms, including managing global or multi-regional websites (Shopify Plus experience highly regarded).
- Solid understanding of SEO and how it integrates into eCommerce strategy.
- Demonstrated experience in eCommerce merchandising, including current product launches and catalogue structure management.
- High attention to detail and a strong design sensibility that aligns with the brand’s premium standards.
- Experience running A/B tests and implementing CRO tactics to improve onsite performance and increase conversion.

Compensation
Base pay range: A$120,000.00/yr – A$155,000.00/yr. This range is provided by The Talent Mill AU & NZ - Designer, Luxury, Fashion Retail Recruitment. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
