About the Role
The role will manage the Co-Development Project for a new Transitional Accommodation Program, acting as the first point of contact for all stakeholders in relation to project scope, scheduling, project governance, activity completion, progress reporting and contract requirements, ensuring project outcomes, timetable and budget are successfully achieved.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage delivery of the project plan to ensure project objectives, milestones, outcomes, contractual obligations and project governance are achieved
* Develop and manage delivery of the Project Strategic Communications and Engagement Plan to align with the project plan, partnership values and St Pat's values
* Manage project governance requirements, including supporting the Project Reference Group (PRG) as needed and in consultation with the Director Housing and PRG Secretariat
* Oversee the project timetable with all project partners to ensure phased activities are achieved and all stakeholders have a clearly defined pathway to project completion
* Prepare and present project reports for internal and external stakeholders
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with the project plan and achievement of milestones in third-party sub-contracts
* Develop and manage contractual reporting systems and structures for project oversight, management reporting and to meet contractual obligations
* Provide guidance and support to seconded staff in achieving project milestones and operational activities
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a social and/or community housing context
* Project or contract management – demonstrated experience in managing community housing or homelessness projects or services, including governance, monitoring and evaluation
* Staff management – experience in guiding, supervising and coaching in a multi-disciplinary, person-centered environment
* Stakeholder engagement and management – experience across Government, NGOs, service partners and consultants
* Budget management and reporting – experience in developing budgets and financial/performance reporting
* Communication skills – ability to work with diverse backgrounds and life experiences
* Problem solving – ability to manage multi-stakeholder relationships and implement solutions
* Analytical skills – experience using data to analyse trends, plan, mitigate risk and report
* Writing skills – strong verbal and written communication, including reports and presentations
* Cultural awareness – awareness and sensitivity to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures, particularly regarding housing and homelessness services
