About The Role
As an Experienced Barista at Stellarossa Nerang, you will be busy pumping out coffees and preparing cold drinks for dine-in and takeaway, while interacting with guests, taking their orders, and supporting your fellow team members. We have two part-time positions for 25-30 hours each, with a focus on weekdays.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Dial in grinders to Stellarossa espresso recipe.
* Interact with guests, taking their orders and providing exceptional customer service.
* Assist with opening and closing duties.
* Support your team members and create a positive atmosphere.
* Manage FOH inventory and restock supplies as needed.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
* Minimum of 1 year of experience as a barista.
* Preferable availability across weekends, weekdays and public holidays.
* Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
* A charismatic, engaging, bright, and bubbly personality.
* High energy and productivity levels.
* Well-rounded coffee and guest service experience.
* Openness to learning and following systems.
