Venue Manager – What you'll do
* Lead all aspects of venue operations across service, kitchen, bar, and functions.
* Set and uphold an exceptional guest experience, resolving issues with warmth and urgency.
* Build, coach and roster a high‑performing team; set clear expectations and celebrate wins.
* Own budgets and P& L: forecast sales, manage labour percentage, control COGS and drive profitable growth.
* Maintain strict compliance (RSA, food safety, WHS) and uphold licensing and legislative requirements.
* Plan and execute local marketing, events and activations to grow revenue and community engagement.
* Oversee stock, ordering and supplier relationships; minimise wastage and ensure accurate stocktakes.
* Ensure the venue is immaculately presented and well maintained, coordinating repairs and maintenance.
* Collaborate effectively with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Duty Manager – What you'll do
* Support the Venue Manager to run smooth day‑to‑day operations across the venue, including bar, gaming, bistro, and accommodation.
* Lead the team on shift to deliver exceptional service and a welcoming guest experience.
* Coordinate front of house and back of house activity to maintain service standards and efficient workflows.
* Coach, support, and provide clear feedback to team members to build capability and positive performance.
* Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, till reconciliation, and accurate daily reporting.
* Act as the first point of contact for guest enquiries and concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety, liquor licensing, RSA, and RCG requirements, and proactively address operational issues.

Venue Manager – What you'll bring
* Proven success leading a busy hospitality venue (pub/bar/hotel/restaurant or similar).
* Inspirational leadership that builds a collaborative, inclusive team culture and supports team development.
* Confident with budgets, labor planning and cost control.
* A strong commitment to exceptional customer experiences, with a proactive approach to customer needs and feedback.
* Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Certificate of Gambling (RCG).
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays.
* Desirable: gaming/TAB compliance experience, event management, and beverage/wine knowledge.
Duty Manager – What you'll bring
* A strong customer first mindset and genuine passion for hospitality.
* Confident leadership on shift, with the ability to coach, mentor, and guide team members.
* Clear communication skills, with the ability to adjust your style for different people and situations.
* The ability to stay calm under pressure, handle conflict constructively, and approach problems with a solutions focus.
* Proven experience in front of house operations, customer service, and team supervision in a hospitality setting.
* Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Certificate of Gambling (RCG).
* Practical capability in stock control, cash handling, and daily venue operations.
* Confidence using relevant hospitality systems, including point of sale software, with an empathetic approach to sensitive conversation.
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays.
