Teaching Opportunity in Food Technology and Textiles
We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator to join our dynamic team in teaching Food Technology and Textiles to students in Years 7-10.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop and deliver engaging curricula, integrate industry trends and promote healthy eating habits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver an engaging Years 7-10 Food Technology curriculum aligned with standards, covering cooking skills, nutrition, and food safety.
* Instruct students in safe kitchen practices, equipment use, and hygiene, promoting a clean and organized learning environment.
* Integrate up-to-date industry trends and nutrition education to encourage healthy eating habits.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance program quality and student learning outcomes.
* Plan and deliver engaging Years 7-10 Textiles lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum and VCE.
Requirements:
* Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
* Hold a valid VIT registration
* Experience in Food technology or Textiles advantageous- graduates welcome to apply
* Understanding of the Vic Curriculum- experience teaching in Vic/Australia
* Minimum 4-year bachelor's degree containing a teaching qualification, with further study an advantage
