Brand Gold Coast is the central place branding entity that provides guidance to all Council owned entities and community to establish and maintain a unified Gold Coast identity.

About the role
The Manager of Partnerships and Operations will work with the Brand Gold Coast team to create, administer, and sell a brand partnership program to the Gold Coast community. Who are our brand partners? They are businesspeople, artists, social entrepreneurs, storytellers, and staff of Gold Coast Council and our partner entities.
The responsibilities of this role will also include working closely with the Head of Brand Development and Operations on governance, administration, and brand projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Co-create, manage, and grow the Brand Gold Coast partnership program.
- Organise and manage workshops and partner events.
- Invite Gold Coasters to join as brand partners, communicating the value of the program.
- Seek opportunities to market Brand Gold Coast services to Gold Coasters.
- Work with the Manager of Digital Storytelling on the Gold Coaster brand mark program.
- Explore opportunities to create and launch brand projects.
- Manage the brand partnerships budget.
- Explore ways to turn partnership opportunities into brand projects for the benefits of Gold Coasters.
- Learn and manage Brand Gold Coast governance and administration functions.
- Participate meaningfully in strategic and corporate planning.Have fun at work.
About you
You are energetic, empathetic, curious, and proactive. You enjoy the meeting place of public service and customer service and see helping as winning. You thrive in a start-up environment and a small team, and you are curious about the field of place‑branding. While you are deeply passionate about what you do, and highly skilled, you don’t take yourself too seriously. You understand the importance of effective governance and administration, and you are comfortable with finance and budget management. You like to organise events and gatherings. You are eager to step in and help, and to learn what you don’t already know.
You will also have tertiary qualifications (or equivalent) in marketing, communications, law, or business administration.
