Maintenance Professional
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing equipment performance and ensuring maximum availability at least cost through effective planned maintenance schedules. They will collaborate with other plant engineers and team leaders to achieve machine maintenance hours on scheduled work.
To succeed in this role, the candidate must have experience of working in a high-volume manufacturing environment and possess engineering qualifications such as an Apprenticeship, NVQ Level three, or HNC. Familiarity with machinery such as PLC-controlled machinery, packaging machinery, and pneumatic controls is also essential.
In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will be able to participate fully in an objective-driven process improvement strategy and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Responsibilities include:
* Recording and storing spare parts correctly.
* Updating the plant register and providing information for permits.
* Participating in an objective-driven process improvement strategy.
