Occupational Therapist Role Summary
As an occupational therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping workers recover from injuries or illnesses and return to work. Our program is designed to equip graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this field.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate treatment needs for workers with workplace or non-workplace injuries.
* Conduct assessments such as initial needs, workplace assessments, ergonomics, and daily living activities.
* Perform specialist functional and pre-employment assessments for corporate clients.
* Help clients find future employment or training options.
* Manage client progress towards return-to-work goals.
* Engage with stakeholders and build relationships.
Requirements:
* Occupational Therapy degree
* AHPRA accreditation eligibility
* Comcare accreditation (desirable)
* Current Working with Children Check and national criminal check
* Full driver's license
